David L. Thomas – President
As Chief Executive Officer, David Thomas works closely with Presidents, Boards of Directors and senior leadership teams, bringing clarity to their strategic direction and developing actionable strategies that incorporate industry “Best Practices” and his specialized knowledge of the environment in which community institutions operate. David’s creative and client-centered focus gives EPG the direction it needs to effectively evolve with today’s market.
David holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from The University of Notre Dame as well as Series 7 and 65 NASD licenses. Prior to joining EPG in 1988, David began his career in the private investment sector of the National Bank of Detroit, where he developed and managed investment programs for the senior executives of several Detroit-based auto companies in addition to managing institutional accounts. From the National Bank of Detroit, David joined Merrill Lynch, providing services to both individual and select corporate accounts and working with both the Detroit and Boston offices.
Allan Dwyer – Executive Vice President, ALM Manager
As Executive Vice President and ALM Manager, Allan Dwyer oversees the ALM process, develops client strategy, and presents ALM analysis to clients. Client consultation includes all ALM matters: strategy, analytical, educational, and regulatory compliance. Allan’s result-driven mentality and problem solving propensity help EPG deliver quality results to our clients.
Prior to joining EPG in 1996, Allan worked as a Commissioned Bank Examiner for the FDIC where he performed safety and soundness exams for community banks in the New England area. Allan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Business Economics from the University of Notre Dame and a Master’s Degree in Finance from Boston College.
In his free time, Allan golfs and enjoys Notre Dame sporting events. As President of the Irish Whiskey Society of America, Allan can be found presenting whiskey tastings, organizing whiskey distillery tours and events, and discussing all things whiskey. As a Founding Father of the Dingle Whiskey Distillery in Dingle, Ireland, Allan is patiently waiting for his own Irish whiskey to come of age.
Stella Pang – Executive Vice President, Equity Portfolio Manager
As Executive Vice President, Equity Portfolio Manager, Stella Pang oversees the development of the equity process and procedures. Using foresight and flexibility, she creates portfolios that meet our client’s goals and objectives while understanding each client’s risk tolerance. She is responsible for development and management of the “OTTI” process. With more than 30 years of experience, Stella’s passion for analyzing different outcomes allows her to help clients build a portfolio that can withstand a variety of different environments.
Stella holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She also holds a Series 65 License. Prior to joining EPG, Stella’s experience includes Wang Laboratories in the International Treasury Department where she managed the company’s defined benefits plans. She also worked at Fidelity Investments in both Corporate Accounting and the Government Bond Accounting Divisions.
An avid foodie, Stella can be found spending time with her family, especially over dim sum or hot pot.
Larry Teitelbaum – Executive Vice President, Fixed Income Portfolio Manager
As EPG’s Executive Vice President, Fixed Income Portfolio Manager, Larry Teitelbaum continually analyzes portfolios for IRR/Credit risks and opportunities to ensure our clients achieve their objectives. As Editor of “The Advisor,” Larry reviews and synthesizes global economic trends and US fixed income products and markets to help best position clients’ portfolios in an ever changing world. Working with EPG for 20 years, Larry’s passion for understanding and capitalizing on market direction help us get the results our clients expect.
Larry holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from Tufts University, as well as an MBA in Finance from the University of Colorado. Prior to joining EPG, Inc. Mr. Teitelbaum served as Principal and Portfolio Manager for Scudder, Stevens, and Clark. Prior to Scudder he worked as Senior Portfolio Manager for Merrill Lynch Asset Management.
When Larry isn’t working, he can be found enjoying time with friends and family, swimming, biking, meditating and teaching.
Jonathan Rankin – Senior Vice President, Validation Manager
As EPG’s Senior Vice President, Validation Manager, Jonathan Rankin provides ALM Modeling Services for our clients. His thorough and analytical work style help build strong client relationships, ensuring that EPG is responsive to each client’s individual needs.
Jonathan received his Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Marketing from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and his MBA from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College. He also holds the FINRA Series 65 license. Prior to joining EPG in 2014, Jonathan worked for EasCorp for eight years as Assistant Vice President of Asset Liability Management. He was responsible for the ALM Modeling & Consulting Service, ALM Validation and board education and training programs.
An avid traveler, Jonathan can be found touring the world with his family or playing volleyball.
Daniel B. Dube – Vice President, Chief Compliance Officer
As EPG’s Chief Compliance Officer, Dan Dube is responsible for all aspects of compliance and regulatory reviews. In addition, he maintains oversight of portfolio systems and operations. Working with EPG for over 10 years, Dan’s passion for client relationships and satisfaction, along with his in-depth industry knowledge make him a valuable asset to EPG.
Dan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Science from Bridgewater State University, as well as a Master’s Degree in Finance from Suffolk University. With previous work experience including JPMorgan Investor Services as Assistant Vice President in Fund Administration and Compliance and State Street Bank and Trust in International Reconciliation and Control, Dan brings a unique, client-focused perspective to EPG.
When Dan isn’t helping clients, he can be found riding his bicycle and spending time with his family.
Kyle M. Falk – Senior Financial Analyst
As a Senior Financial Analyst, Kyle Falk’s duties include analyzing all aspects of the ALM process, preparing and distributing reports to our clients, client presentations and inquiries, as well as training and mentoring staff. Kyle’s diligence and passion for adding value to each project and task help him maintain a high degree of professionalism for all our clients.
Kyle holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from WP Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. Before joining EPG in 2012, Kyle interned at a consulting firm that specializes in public policy and strategic communications and at a financial services firm that specialized in sourcing potential buyout targets.
Kyle is series 65 licensed.
Jeffrey Covitz – Portfolio Management Associate
As a Portfolio Management Associate, Jeffrey Covitz works with EPG operations and relationship management areas to ensure “best in class” implementation of processes and procedures.
Jeffrey holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management from Bryant University and has completed the coursework portion of the education requirement for Certified Financial Planner designation through the Bryant University Online Certificate in Financial Planning. A former Division 1 athlete, Jeffrey was a two-year captain of the Bryant University football team. Before joining EPG, Jeffrey worked for two years as a Commercial Credit Analyst.
In his free time, Jeffrey enjoys exercising, reading and traveling to new places.
Amy Feldman – Acting as a consulting Chief Financial Officer
Acting as a consulting Chief Financial Officer, Amy Feldman oversees all the financial functions at EPG. Amy’s experience, expertise and attention to detail provides the oversight that is an asset to EPG.
Amy holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Accounting from Boston University and a MBA from the Darden School at the University of Virginia. She also is a CPA licensed in Massachusetts. Prior to Amy starting her own consulting practice, her experience included being a Manager at Deloitte & Touche. In addition to working with EPG, Amy has extensive experience working with a variety of clients fulfilling the Controller and CFO roles.
In her free time, Amy loves to travel and live vicariously through her children.
